A growing commercial construction company with operation in 22 states seeking an experienced and highly connected Senior Sales Representative to lead business development efforts in commercial construction, including medical, education, government, hospitality, and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for a proven performer with a strong personal network and a deep understanding of the industry. The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of industry experience, a solid book of business, and the ability to convert relationships into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new business opportunities across commercial, medical, education, government, hospitality, and industrial construction sectors
  • Leverage existing relationships with developers, architects, general contractors, and property owners
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on long-term relationship development
  • Partner with preconstruction and estimating teams to shape competitive proposals
  • Lead presentations and proposal development tailored to client needs
  • Maintain CRM records with detailed notes, activity tracking, and forecasting
  • Represent Arning Construction at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform strategy and service delivery
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of sales experience in commercial construction or related markets
  • Demonstrated success in developing a personal book of business and industry relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of project delivery methods and sector-specific nuances
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and drive results
  • Proficient with Microsoft O;ice Suite and CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or related field preferred
